Do you have a limit on the number of hikers at one time ?
Not at this time. We are fortunate to be far enough up the trail to allow all you guys to spread out.
How many nights can we stay during hiker season ?
We prefer only one or two nights stay. If you need more please come and speak to us about it. During Sept and Oct we have new hikers coming in and out every day. We can not handle the "Herd". We don't want to have to turn anyone away.

Can family stay while we are there ?
Yes....Hikers have first dibs on beds. We have lots of room on the grass for camping and tents. Also room for horse trailers and RVs. We also ask that your family and friends shower and use their computers before they arrive here. Our services are for PCT hikers only. Sorry if I sound like a crab but that's the way it is.

What do you have for the hikers ?
We have about 2 acres of mowed grass for pitching tents and lots of big trees to throw your sleeping bags under. You will have access to a shower, bathroom, laundry, kitchen, computer, phone (needs calling card), lounge and crash area. There are a couple of BBQs and a fire pit ( and lots of fire wood).

Is there a place to resupply close by ?
The Baring Store across the road from us has some resupply items. The Deli in Skykomish has junk food, super Deli sandwiches and soups, hand dipped ice cream and a liqour store. The Chevron Station in Skykomish has more junk food and energy bars.

Can I drink while I'm staying with you ?
If you can drink responsibly...yes you may drink. If you get stupid then you will be asked to leave.
Do you charge for your services ?
We do not charge for what we offer here. We do put out a wood box and use the donations to defer our costs during hiker season.
Are there any cafes close by ?
There is the Baring Store across the hwy from us. It has a cafe, small resupply, some fresh food and beer. In Skykomish there is the Cascadia Inn for meals and the Sky Deli for homemade sandwiches, soups and ice cream.

Are you open year round ?
Yes for PCT hikers whether thru or section hikers. We will also be open during ski season if you come back to work at Steven's Pass and need a place to stay. That's usually Dec. 1 thru April 15th.
Do you allow dogs or horses to stay the night ?
Yes. Dogs are allowed if they are kept outside and under control. We do have the Pooch-O-Mat. It's a separate laundry and shower for thru or section hiker dogs. Horses are allowed if they are cleaned up after. Deposits may be transfered to the back 40. No animals (or hikers) are allowed to be in the neighbor's yards.
Can you pick us up at the trail head ?
We do not pick up or return hikers to the trail head. It's an easy hitch to our place and back to the trail head. It saves us an hour round trip every time a hiker calls.
